July 8, 2025, Werkendam, The Netherlands – As of April 2025, ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning has appointed a new branch director. Following a brief interim period, Jaap Vermunt has been officially named to lead the rapidly developing Werkendam facility. With his background as Supply Chain Manager within the BKB Precision Group, he brings valuable expertise, structure, and a clear vision for growth and collaboration.

At the Kunststoffenbeurs 2025 ANKRO together with BLW Kunststoffen will be present again. For the second year in a row we will take visitors into the world of plastic machining and introduce you to our progressive solutions within this field.

What does sustainability really mean in a world of machinery, plastics and machining? On Environment Day 2024, BKB Precision Group answers that question with its new 2024 Sustainability Report. As part of the BKB Precision Group, together with BKB Precision and BLW Kunststoffen, we show how we turn sustainability into concrete actions and progressive ambitions.

In April 2023, we at Ankro Kunststof Verspaning were excited to receive our new BMO robot, which was also mounted on the Mazak Variaxis c600 in the same month. The robot is a powerful addition to our production process, allowing us to work even faster and more efficiently.

ANKRO is excited to announce the recent acquisition of a new 5-axis milling machine. This machine will significantly enhance our production capabilities and enable the ANKRO team to produce even more precise and advanced products. Following its installation, a robot from BMO will be added in the spring to enable 24/7 milling.

From its humble beginnings in 1998 operating from a small garage in Woudrichem, ANKRO has transformed into a thriving enterprise with an extensive clientele. In April, Mannes Westhuis, the CEO of BKB Precision from Son in Brabant, acquired Werkendam-based company ANKRO Kunststofverspaningstechnieken BV together with investment company 365 Capital. We are curious to see how things are going now and what the plans are for the future.
