To continue meeting the ever-growing demand for high-volume plastic processing, we at ANKRO have invested in a new cobot loading system: the G-Loader-30 Special from Gibas. Our Mazak Integrex runs high-volume production runs every day, where consistency and throughput are essential. For the G-Loader-30 Special, we worked with Gibas through an extensive design process, from initial concept to final setup. This resulted in a cobot loading system featuring the Universal Robots UR30, specifically tailored to the Integrex: a heavy-duty version capable of automatically loading even large workpieces, and a setup that can be used on multiple machines in our machine park.
Our skilled technicians have received extensive training in operating and maintaining the cobot. This allows us not only to automate the loading of large production runs but also to add extra production hours at night and on weekends, without compromising quality or consistency.
Because the Mazak Integrex can now operate around the clock, including at night and on weekends, we can increase production without compromising our delivery times or quality standards. For our customers, this extra capacity means one thing above all: shorter lead times. This makes a direct difference, especially for production runs where volume and consistency go hand in hand.
