Acquisition of ANKRO by BKB Precision

BKB Precision welcomes investor 365 Capital and acquires Ankro Kunststof Verspaning. CEO of BKB Precision, Mannes Westhuis, proudly introduces 365 Capital as the majority investor. Together, they are acquiring ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning (ANKRO Kunststofverspaningstechnieken BV).

The new group will be managed by Mannes Westhuis. The recent owners of ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning will remain to oversee the integration of both organizations and support the ambitious future plans. Both brands of BKB Precision (Van den Berg Kunststofbewerking BV in Son) and ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning will be retained.

BKB Precision, founded in 1982, specializes in the turning and milling of plastic components and primarily serves the semiconductor, medical, food, chemical, and analytical industries, both in the Netherlands and globally. BKB Precision enjoys an excellent reputation for manufacturing complex, precise components made of high-quality plastics, such as manifolds.

ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning, founded in 1998, is a trusted machining partner for plastic components. From Werkendam, they produce for their mostly Dutch clients in the food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, medical, analytical, and graphic industries. While BKB Precision has historically focused on milling operations, Ankro has primarily specialized in turning operations.

Johan van Anrooy and his wife Sonja, founders of ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning: "The acquisition by BKB Precision is the result of a perfect match in company culture, ambition, and craftsmanship. It gives us the opportunity to grow and provide continuity for our people and customers. I truly believe that we will strengthen each other in this rapidly developing market."

Mannes Westhuis, CEO and co-owner of the group, shares this enthusiasm: "By incorporating Ankro into our group, we increase our potential to meet the growing needs of the high-tech market in terms of capacity and manufacturing capabilities in plastics. From our first encounter with ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning, we recognized a shared ambition and drive to develop while also remaining a reliable partner for our customers and employees in this time of constant change. Satisfied customers are an essential requirement we impose on ourselves."

Reinaert Molenaar, partner at 365 Capital, adds: "The end markets that BKB Precision and Ankro serve are continuously evolving. This results in increasing demands and changing roles for component and assembly suppliers in these end markets. We look forward to supporting BKB Precision and ANKRO Kunststof Verspaning as they manage these challenges and continue to grow, both organically and through strategic acquisitions."
